The most exciting thing to do with your kids, is to let them explore in nature and just let them play wild and freely. It’s more entertaining then any movie to watch, just to see them using their imagination and see what they are coming up with for creative play!
I went out with Mr L to our local little beach and let him explore and play with his Miann & Co (formerly known as Ladedah) pirate bunny. The amazing black checked knitted bean bag from their newest collection ‘Bon Voyage’ became a FANTASTIC pirate ship, and Mr L was sailing away to a deserted island with his best friends ‘The Pirate Bunny’. He had so much fun to explore and play.
I think every generation is telling their kids that when we were kids we went out in the nature and played and build shacks and stayed out all day and used their imagination and creativity.
I remember my grandma used to tell me her stories about how she grew up on a farm with 8 siblings. When I grew up in the 80's the older generation complained that we were watching too much TV, and now people are concerned about the kids ipads and Internet … I don't think there is anything wrong with technology. It teaches us a lot of amazing things, but it’s still important to  'just be a kid ' and explore the nature and use fun, handmade toys to create and play with.

Miann & Co is an ever growing Australian company that makes unique and beautiful knitted toys and décor for the minis, while catering to every taste! As their company grew, the owners decided a name change was due and this is when they recently announced that their new name is Miann & co. From the widely known knitted unicorns and swan princesses to pirate bunnies and dragons, to minimalistic bean bags and flowery knitted rugs. It has all stayed the same, same quality, same commitment to environment and the people making their products: Only the name got changed.
-The Knitted Bean bag is so cute and comfortable. Leon just loves chilling out on it.

The Miann & Co  range is handmade from the comfort of the makers home in Asia by a passionate team of women. The women work from home to enable them to work around the childcare and their family's need, and the work is generating a fair income which in turn benefits the entire community.

Hi lovely ones. I have been going through some serious emotions lately as my dad has been very ill and life has been put into perspective. I have really been reflecting on how I can make this blog a positive and inspiring hub for you mamas, where we can mix both love for ethically manufactured children's fashion, but also parenting and mama love and parent empowering. If there is ONE thing I have learned as a mom it is that ALL mothers are insecure about one thing or another when it comes to raising their children. We all feel all the feels. So I think you can expect a little bit of a change on the blog. A bit more thoughts and reflections, but still with the same dose of children's fashion ~ because I do love amazing and inspirational mamas and papas who design and make clothes in a kind way: kind to the earth and kind to the people making them is the only way to go in my opinion - and two brands who are all about the manufacturing being kind, is Zuttion (for the boys) and The Story Of (for the girls). Both brands belong to the Zuttion family: Mama Kukuh and papa Pete lives, designs and manufacture their beautiful high quality clothing in Bali, where they also live with their two little boys.
I love that I can dress my children in clothing that contributes to building and growing a beautiful place like Bali: Its like the clothes arrive with their own doze of feel good vibes.

Miss W immediately picked out the TSO Edie knitted Jumper and when it arrived she cuddled it for the longest time before putting it on. It is just the softest knit jumper EVER. She feels like the snuggliest little teddybear in this sweater. And the colours are so beautiful. It worked really well on top of the Bo dress from I dig denim ~ full of Stoney Clover Lane fabric patches .
Mr C picked out the Zuttion paradiso jumper and he could honestly live in this (and most likely would if only autumn could arrive and not stay at a constant 25-35 degrees. Truly our summer is never ending this year. Which is wonderful but if you are a scandinavian like myself who loves layering... well, I kinda miss that!)  But we got by matching this cool hoodie with I dig denims black soho shorts. The soho model is out personal favourite denim shorts ever. They have just the perfect amount of stretch and the right amount of swag!
Cal also got to wear his FRESH Maa fort myers cuero velvet to match. These kicks are in a league of their own. The leather is just so soft, the sole is so comfortable, the shoe is cushioned and lined with the softest leather ever. There was never a children's shoe that fitted Mr C's colourful personality better.

So there we have it: Ethically made from top to toe.
That too, totally comes with super good vibes.

I hope you will enjoy our little sunset adventure. Sadly, we arrived a little too early and by the time the sun set, the kids were knackered and definitely not willing to stand still for a picture, but just to brag, I added a capture of how amazing the sunset was this lovely evening.

Little Leon went out on an autumn bike adventure to test out his brand new Wishbone 3-1 bike – all layered up in the truly up and coming Australian children's label, Chi KhiThe amazing wishbone design 3 in one bike is the perfect bike for your little toddler. Leon has the Limited Edition Tangaroa bike, with the cutest fish design (which fits us who live in a little coastal paradise perfectly) This bike can be used from 1 year with the tree wheels and at around 2 years of age you transform it to a super cute and highly durable eco-friendly wooden balancing bike! See more ((here))
This was Mr L’s first time biking and he loved it so much and quickly realised he could go very fast down the small hills and bumps. Of course I got a bit scared but he was pretty determined. He wanted to push the bike up the small hills, and off he went.
He biked to check out the waves at the beach, an empty car-park become a race car track to finally go and have a look at the memorial mountain of handmade poppies! Of course he had his favourite pirate bunny as a passenger with him from the ethical Australian brand Miann & Co (formerly known as Ladedah kids) I will soon tell you more about them in a separate blogpost.

Chi Khi is designed for the urban, really cool little kids! High-end designer clothes for little kids and babies and of course they are super comfortable and unisex.
The designer is the creative multi-talented Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
This season Chi Khi is all about layering and I think it’s really their coolest collection so far!! They have amazing LS tees that you can easily layer with a jumper and a hooded vest. This vest is perfect for the Australian winter.
Chi Khi has a great eye for the small details. The jumpers have sneaky thumb holes for warming up the cold winter hands! How great is that! And it doesn't stop there, Chi khi also has a great range of winter accessories! I love the aviator hat and the mood snood. This snood will be Leons’ must have for the season. It’s keep your neck warm and it’s just adds that extra stylish layering look to any outfit!
The fabric in the garments are made from bamboo and cotton, it’s so amazing soft towards your skin and it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter! The clothes are very well made, cosy and made to last, so you can pass them on. That’s great for our environment as well!

Mr L got to wear both his favourite shoes : the very comfortable boots from Tip Top Joey and the cool lion sneakers by Feiyue from Romper stomper kids.

Wish you all a beautiful day with lots of adventures!
