Exactly what summer should be all about. Play, fun, friends, beach...
I'm just so thankful to live in paradise and I'm grateful my kids get to enjoy the ocean from so early on. When we lived in the city, I was constantly missing the beautiful ocean, so I truly know how to appreciate this.
Having friends all around, most of our playdates are on the beach as well. I mean, why would they not be, right?
We spend hours here every day!
On this day Mr C and Miss W met their pal Mr H and had a fun play in the water on this gorgeous day.
It was daddy's day of, the perfect amount of waves, a beautiful little breeze, just the right amount of puffy clouds in the sky and just the right amount of degrees. The kids played in the water for hours, with the only breaks being to grab a chip or some carrot juice from the cafe. Yes, on days like these, I feel so grateful.
Mr C (notice how long his hair is getting? I love!!) was wearing his new munsterkids shorts and rashie from buckets and spades, and Mr H in his littlehorn shorts and quiksilver rashie. Both wore their favourite summer shoes from native shoes from little pin wheel.,
Miss W wore her
munster kids watermelon swimsuit, Kardashian Kids skirt and her new favourite bag from Louise Misha. When paired with some natural leather sandals from the spanish shoe specialist, Eli Papanatas, you have the ultimate summerlook for any little super girl!
(She was so cute skateboarding in this super sweet outfit! She takes my breath away)
Then we ended the day with momma carrying the sleepy girl home, and her falling asleep beneath the shade from the fresh and lovely smelling laundry in the garden.

All the kids went to bed exhausted on this day. For you know all the rumours about the fresh sea air... It's all true! They sure sleep like angels.

Hi All!

We are smack in the middle of October friends.... How did that happen already? On our recent trip to NYC we went to a shop that already had Christmas decor for sale! This all seems so sudden as just two weeks ago it was still tee shirt light jacket weather.

These days we pass the time by chasing falling leaves that are blowing around, testing out new hot cocoa recipes and thinking about steamy bowls of roasted butternut squash soup and toasted nuts.
We are certainly welcoming the cool brisk air as it means that we finally get to break out all of our new seasons fall gear and be cozy with sweatshirt layers, beanies and furry lined boots!

Little Man Happy is a kids fashion and lifestyle label from Berlin that has done it right with their low impact eco friendly prints. Mr.P loved  the sweet mountain print jumper so much, and I loved the cozy comfort and freedom of movement that it offered.

We kept the look super casual for our little fall inspired adventure with his staple and spot on trend Mini Rodini bomber jacket (which is totally reversible btw), and of course AKID brand fur lined boots which were absolutly the best for leaf stomping and running through corn fields! Ah the joys of childhood! So lucky am I to be able to see the world brand new through my sweet little mans eyes.

You Can Shop this rad jumper and other pieces from the LMH AW15 collection here

Wishing you all a Happy Fall!

Much Love from Upstate NY,

Hi friends! Ah a new week is dawning and over here the spring has finally sprung. It is simply lovely to feel the sun on bare skin again as well. Such a rejuvenating feeling that comes with springtime.

Living by the ocean, we pretty much live half the time in our swimmers during the summer months, and my favourite part about that is matching Miss W's swimsuits with skirts and sandals/shoes so that she can still look dressed up, even though she really isn't. This popupshop swimsuit from apple baby store are so nice! I love this print! The desert and the cacti. Perfect to match with these fringe boots from Ocra shoes. Did you ever see anything this gorgeous? These shoes are not only beautiful, but they are made from the softest leather lining and softest suede, and they are so good to little feet. Miss W adores them! And of course, no outfit is complete without a bag, so this Louise Misha gypsy bag is the perfect match. I was thrilled to see the neon pink tassles!! And not only that, the quality of this little purse is just unbelievable! So so beautiful! So head to Apple Baby if you dig these pieces, and check out the other boots from Ocra AW15. So much amazingness it's hard to choose!!!
So this was us, just hanging out in or little neighbourhood on a Thursday, blowing bubbles and twirling. I hope this coming week will be just as lovely as the one we are leaving.

And as you embark on your new week, I'd love to wish you a fabulous and sunny one.
And I hope you will enjoy our summery post.

Gorgeous peeps, how have you been? I am so happy to share this tropical Australian jungle adventure with you, but before that let me just say a few words about this gorgeous Australian brand, Feather Drum. As you might recall, my kids were the models for last season Feather Drum campaign (see ((here )) to refresh your memory) and this years Feather drum "Tales from the sea" campaign is just as stunning and I love how the brand now goes up to size 12 years!! I always wonder how Kelly will be able to top her collections the next season but every season this brand just grows better and better. She is a true bohemian queen, this is in her charming british blood: The pieces she creates and the prints always take my breath away. I love how her fabrics are soft and luxurious and the pieces are so well tailored that it makes every boho mama long for these pieces in their size (Truly! I would live in these jumpsuits and nevereverever take them of!) Whenever my kids wear FD, I get stopped constantly and asked "where is this from" "Do they make these in big girl sizes" "Oh it's an A u s t r a l i a n label??"  so good!

We decided to go on a little jungle adventure, at a little reserve called The Forest of Tranquility in Ourimbah, NSW. It is the most gorgeous peaceful place, and though you would believe the place would be packed with snakes, its not: It is too cold and wet for the snakes inside the rainforest. The humidity level was 45 on the day we were there but inside the jungle, beneath the massive canopy, the humidity level was 85. It was spectacular. Last time I did this walk Mr C was in my belly, so it had been some years, and finally we figured the kids were old enough and interested enough to appreciate the beauty of the jungle. They absolutely loved it! This must be one of my favourite places to visit. I cannot think of anywhere I would rather go for a hike. But, make sure you wear pants, socks and boots!
I'll let you enjoy these captures where my kids are all dressed in Feather Drum SS15
and I wish you a wonderful week.

Ps: Mr C has started posing lately. I just let him do his thing. He is so cute with his stoic posey face, but don't be fooled, this kid is a happy and funny super dude :)
