Designer, Singer and Actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte has just lunched her third Chi Khi collection; The Chi Khi Lounge Range. It’s a mid-season collection designed for the really cool little mini's 0-2 years and it’s just AMAZING! The colour scheme is monochrome, the style is unisex and the pieces can all easily be mixed and matched.  The fabric is made of a bamboo and cotton mix, which is a wonderful and sustainable fabric for the littlest ones. Leon is very lucky he was sent an early Christmas gift in a beautiful gift box from Chi Khi, which is available if you make an order over $30.

Summer has arrived here in Australia, and we can finally explore a lot and go on fun adventures. It is especially fun to dress up in nice garments from Chi Khi to keep you cool all day in the heat.
We started our day with Leon opening his early Christmas present in bed and then we headed out for an adventure. He wanted his favorite Teddy with him so he carried him around in his Chi Khi mesh bag.
Leon is a big fan of Mr C's and Miss W's skateboarding but he’s still a bit young, so I took him to the skatepark to watch the older kids.  He loves seeing them doing all the tricks.
After that we went on a little adventure to check out wall art in the backstreet's, before it was time for a cool off at the beach. Leon just loves climbing around on the boats by the lagoon, and of course he couldn’t resist to play in the water too.  He got all wet and then we changed into the Wrap shorts and the Fred Tank from Chi Khi kids range. It’s very notable it’s high end designer clothes for the eye for the small details. Chi Khi's logo is two cute blinking eyes and it comes back in the details for example the back of the pockets at the wrap shorts. The mesh tank is another great example how to transform a basic tank into a designer piece!
The best thing with Chi Khi's clothes is you can wear them all day and night Like Natalie said herself “I wanted to create a range of items that could go from day to night and sleep to play, essentially be comfy enough to sleep in while cool enough for hitting the streets with Mum”.
We wrapped up our day by baking the traditional Swedish gingerbread cookies, and the Rock suit made a very cute Santa outfit as well! Little Leon was more keen to eating the yummy doughy instead of baking!
I hope you enjoy the Chi Khi collection and the beautiful gift boxes!
Ww wish you all a Wonderful Christmas!

Little editions is the newest kid on the block, an artistic and beautiful Sydney brand, from Bali with love. In fact, on their instagram account @littleeditions, you can see the full production of these pieces and the biggest screenprinting equipment I ever saw! I love a transparent production policy! Fabulous fabulous initiative!!
Little Editions is made up of Kelly & Brad Eastman and their two little children Eamon and Evander, "Little editions has stemmed not only from our love of art and design but our experiences raising our two boys and our exposure to the wild and creative world of children and kid culture / our first little edition is now available to purchase online at" says Kelly.
Their first collection consist of a shirt, a dress and a quilt set, with the artwork from another Sydney artist, Numskull @funskull  featuring his signature colours and shapes.
The cotton used is so beautiful, and the cut of the shirt and the dress is fantastic! Simple yet creative, super fun play clothes for the little adventurers and budding artists. It is total 80's-90's vibes! And I love the 90's!
We were stopped 5 times on our teeny tiny walk from our house to the beach, as people wanted to know where these amazing pieces were from. How fun it was to reply that it is made ethically by a Sydney couple in Bali, featuring Sydney artist Numskull, and that this is their very first pieces.

I hope you will love Little Editions and make sure you secure some of these amazing pieces for someone special for Christmas.

I hope you enjoy

Scotch R'belle is the beloved Amsterdam brand Scotch & Soda's little girls brand, and I have to say, this is a new favourite in our house: the quality is absolutely flawless, I cannot even begin to describe how it feels to touch these pieces, so luxurious: All the scotch shrunk (the boy version) and the R'belle pieces are immaculately detailed, fun and quirky! Its all in the details: that little button there, that zippor, that coloured thread... It has been pure joy to discover this brand! The pieces comes with little doohickeys like fold yourself dices to tell the future, thumb wrestling faces, surf necklaces etc attached to the swing tags, (I'll show you more of this soon)
I also investigated the brand and read their code of conduct, which of course matters a great deal to me, and I was so happy to see a brand that really cares about how their products are manufactured.
you can read more in their Code Of conduct (( here))   and I truly do suggest you take a look!
Buckets and Spades is one of the biggest stockists of the brand in Australia, and you can now find ALL of  their Scotch R'belle at a staggering 50% of ! This is a huge sale with so many key pieces from their latest collection, so I'd jump right on it (in fact, I am!)

I took miss W to her favourite place in our neighbourhood, and we had a wonderful afternoon at low tide scouting for crabs and shells in the little rockpools. She was wearing the silkiest embroidered top, and the most gorgeous beach warrior skirt, and she was jumping around playing in the wind. I love how this skirt drapes in the wind, so elegant yet still easy to play in, which is key when you are 3 years old and playing by the ocean. I simply adore this curious little girl and her patient daddy who teaches her so many cool things about the ocean. And I am thankful they are lucky too, because the next wave that splashed up on that rock in front of Miss W (and daddy who was right there next to her), actually would have made them both soaked to the bone!

I hope you like our little evening adventure
