LITTLE GOODALL :: CHASING THE AUSTRALIAN AUTUMN FEELS // USA MADE COATS :: THE FOX AND THE BUNNY

Darlings! I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous farmland adventure! I always miss the seasonal colour changes that comes with autumn in Europe, so I appreciate it so much when I drive down the beaten track into the farmlands behind our gorgeous beaches. Its not far, about a 10 minute drive, but suddenly you are in the country, and its lush and gorgeous! There is so many trees with yellow and red leaves over this way, sadly for us, we didn't stand a chance at capturing autumn at her best due to schedules and rain rain raiiin, but we made it over none the less and I don't know, I love the autumn feel from the stripped trees and the leaves on the floor. This is a private property, widely known for its driveway, and soooo beautiful! As these gorgeous Maple trees look amazing all green and lush in the summer, and early autumn all yellow, and on fire in the late autumn, I will label this place " The Maple Trees" and aim to venture back this way to capture its beauty for you.

When Miss W was about a year old, I discovered Molly and her USA hand made brand, Little Goodall, as an image of one of her bunny coats went viral on instagram, and I fell in love with this gorgeous mama's creativity and talent. I always wanted to get a coat for W, but I wanted to wait till she was big enough to love the cuteness and quirkiness of this beautiful garment herself.  The bunny coat comes in a variety of colours and fabrics, and you could always find one to suit your climate. We chose the wool felt version with the softest ever cuddle plush lining. Gosh the detailing is amazing on these coats!!

Little Goodall was created by artist and designer Molly Goodall in the fall of 2010. A stay at home mother at the time, Goodall was frustrated when her two year old son refused to wear the hoods on his coats. Searching for a creative solution, she designed and made the original Ferocious Felt Lion coat to inspire him to put his hood up in the cold. Friends commented, orders were placed, and Little Goodall was born!  Molly is also the author of the creative sewing book Wild Things to Sew and Wear, published in the fall of 2014. Molly holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons the New School for Design and has a background in childrenswear, toy design, and fine art. Little Goodall is a family owned business and the line is lovingly made by hand in North Texas.
There truly is something so inspiring and wonderful about a piece of clothing made by hand, and the amazing animal coats, and the gorgeous shirts and bonnets, are all of the highest quality fabrics, durable and made to last through generations. Mr C got to choose a coat also, and he loved the red fox coat. Which coat is your favourite and which wild animal would your little one choose to be? You can see the entire animal coat collection (( here ))
I hope you will fall in love with this gorgeous designer and her incredible talents, just like we have!

And how well did the amazing beige wool coat go with the gorgeous VANS from Romper Stomper Kids? I love these kicks so much!! All that sparkles <3
All the love
