We had such a great weekend! Mr L’s dad is a passionate surfer and he would like to pass on his skills and connection with the ocean to Mr L at a young age. He brought a surfboard with him to the beach and shared some surf lessons with Mr L. How to stand on the board and how to paddle! Mr L loved it and had so much fun!
Here in Australia you have to be careful and protect yourself wisely against the sun, it’s the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. So we want to make sure we don’t stay out to long and when we are in the sun to wear great protection with sun cream, hats and clothes.
Mr L got to try out a new Rashy and Swim trunks from the new Australian swimwear label We Roam. They are both very stylish, easy to take on and off and provide the highest UPF50+ protection against harmful UVA and UVB sunrays.
The owner and creator Bridie Cowell started the label when her son was very young. She had a hard time to find a rashy which goes easily on and off.
Bridie explains “The ocean triggers happy childhood memories and we want our kids to experience the same without having to worry about the harmful effects of the sun. So the heart and soul of We Roam is to celebrate the joy and freedom of a beach lifestyle. Kids roam free and parents are reminded to enjoy the simple pleasures. There’s nothing like a salty dip to make you feel alive – it’s always been our happy place!!”
What is inspiring about “We Roam” is that they teamed up with local artists which have lovingly hand painted each of the prints. The rashies are easy to take on and off and the other great thing they are ethical made! This is a label to keep your eyes on!
Enjoy your summer at the ocean and make sure you stay safe with the sun! Ingrid xx
