LITTLE TOKYOBIKE FINALLY IN AUSTRALIA // MISS W LEARNS TO RIDE A BIKE

Ok darling friends, to say that I am excited to bring you these news is an understatement,
so please brace yourselves::
LITTLE TOKYOBIKE has arrived in Australia!! I have been dreaming of this for a first bike for Lilo ever since I first saw it, but being all the way over in London Town, it remained a dream... But I wished so hard for it to end up in the southern hemisphere, and my wish finally came true! Yay!

Tokyobike is a small, independent bicycle company founded in 2002 in the quiet Tokyo suburb of Yanaka. The name was derived from the design of the bikes. In the same way the mountain bike was designed for the mountains so tokyobike was designed for Tokyo. Based on the concept of ‘Tokyo Slow’ the bikes are designed to be light to ride with an emphasis on comfort over speed. The bike is simply a way to enjoy your city, as much about the journey as the destination

The white wheels, the gorgeous colours and the retro and minimal look just so hit home with me but when it arrived, I was simply blown away! This bike has the most incredible quality I have ever seen in a bike for littles!
The tiny little handles are the cutest ever, the seat is so comfortable and Miss W loves her pink bike with the shiny bell! The colour she chose is called Momo, and it's a beautiful soft pink but the bike comes in six beautiful colours; momo, white, yellow, blue, green and red, so there is one for each taste for sure. The bike is lightweight and  the stabilizers are incredible: they have made this whole learning to ride a bike experience an amazing one for Miss W! The stabilizers are not noisy and wobbly, but secure and they keep the bike in a great position. I remember when I had training-wheels as a child, how I was often riding my bike on a lean to either the left or right side ~which of course did not give me a great sense of riding a bike as it needs to be straight. That is not happening with little tokyoboke! Little Tokyobike stays firmly on the ground in a stable and straight position and allows for the child to learn to ride a bike in a secure and safe way. The bike also has a handle in the frame so it's easy to carry around ( Trust me, I have tried! I love this feature. Makes life so much easier!!)

Miss W is over the moon in love with her little bike and she takes it everywhere. She got very good at riding it the very first day she was on it and ever since she takes it out for a spin everyday and every single time we are out people are commenting on her incredible little ride which makes her so proud and happy.

Next on our list is the sweet little basket so Miss W can bring some flowers, teapots or (plushie) friends along for the ride, and of course, a mama/papa bike!

I hope you will check out these incredible bikes!
