Modern Basics // Mainio // Lets get down

Every once in a while a collection comes along that absolutely IS  EVERYTHING that you are looking for in the world of children's fashion.

While I adore graphics and super wild bold prints for P, there are times when I just want to dress him in super soft comfy organic cotton basics. These are pieces that he can wear to school and to the playground. He had so much fun dancing and showing me his "cool moves" in his new gear. I loved how comfortable he was and while he was certainly cool, he was also not too dressed up. Like totally casual chic!

I can't imagine living in a world where children are not given the liberty to fully express themselves in which ever way they see fit and IMAGINE!

Mainio is a line of wonderful soft clothing thats just fun and stylish and appeals to parents who like the ever popular monochrome and for those like myself who love black and white but also like to explore the world in color. They even have a line for the stylish mamas who want to do a little matchy-match with their minis! Mainio has a strong commitment to Organic milled cotton and Traceable production. All I can say is that I was blown away at how a company can speak a global message of sustainability through kids fashion.

We chose several pieces from the collection and this kit is my favorite. The slim trouser cut Sumu sweatpants are super cozy but also slick looking with side pocket details and a cuffed hem. The button up jacket is a fantastic statement piece that is made to fit a little longer which I love and think it will be very useful on chilly summer evenings.
Everything is really totally special and P loved wearing them!

These fab Mainio's pieces are sold on their own site as well as Dino Deluxe and Abacus Kids

Go Check them out!

Hope you are all well wherever in the world that you are!

Peace and Love from upstate NY
xx
