CHI KHI AW15 // SUSTAINABLE CHILDREN's WEAR by NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE

Chi khi is a new and fabulous brand from Australia. A mix of classic and minimalistic, made from one of my favourite materials, Bamboo. If you haven't tried bamboo fabric before, then let me tell you a little about bamboo: it is so soft and perfect for sensitive skin, very strong and durable but most importantly, highly sustainable. I truly believe there is, and should be, a future for bamboo fabrics and it pleases me so to see it used in children's clothing. Its great to see a brand doing something completely new with classic designs: The quilted sweaters and dress is truly my favourites and the knit: omgoodness the knitted sweater and slouchy beanie, just heart meltingly beautiful. I love this collection and campaign and think its a very solid first collection by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who describes her brand like this:

Chi Khi is for style savvy parents of kids who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd. Cool, urban, unisex designs in a monochromatic palette made to mix and match from bamboo and cotton, the best fabric for sensitive little ones. I love things to be well made, comfortable and to last, so every Chi KhiMini piece has taken that into consideration. The love and attention is in the detailing. Every garment has extra length for those growth spurts. Just fold up or scrunch, upside down zips for easy nappy change and our super cute signature eyelash foot grips for those littlies on the move. The bamboo keeps them cool in summer and warm in winter. Chi Khi launches its first range Chi Khi Mini clothing and accessories for kids 0-4.
